除了之前已经宣布的杰西卡・查斯坦（Jessica Chastain）和评委会主席、西班牙导演佩德罗・阿莫多瓦（Pedro Almodovar）外，本届评委还有黑人影星威尔・史密斯（Will Smith）、华人影星范冰冰（Fan Bingbing）、《托尼厄月》德国女性导演玛伦・阿德（Maren Ade）、《绝美之城》的意大利导演保罗・索伦蒂诺（Paolo Sorrentino）、法国女性导演艾格妮丝・夏薇依（Agnès Jaoui）、韩国导演朴赞郁（Park Chan-wook），以及曾为《天使之城》、《英国病人》、《冷山／寒山》、《天才雷普利》等影片配乐的法国作曲家加布里埃・雅裕Gabriel Yared）。

此前，巩俐、章子怡、赵薇、姜文、贾樟柯、张艺谋、李安等华人影人都曾担任过国际电影节评委，有的还不止一次。范冰冰本人也曾担任过第24届东京国际电影节的评委。

戛纳电影节（法语：Festival de Cannes）是一个由法国于1939年首度举办于该国南部城市戛纳，于二战战后复兴并于同地扩大举办的国际性电影展暨电影奖。

它是国际上最具影响力的电影节之一，与德国的柏林电影节、意大利的威尼斯电影节、加拿大的多伦多国际电影节，以及捷克的卡罗维发利电影节合称为世界五大电影节；又与柏林电影节、威尼斯电影节，以及俄国的莫斯科电影节并称世界四大艺术电影节。

戛纳电影节每年五月中旬举办，为期12天左右，通常于星期三开幕、隔周星期天闭幕；其间除影片竞赛外，市场展亦同时进行。

Cannes Film Festival is held in mid-May every year for about 12 days. It usually opens on Wednesday and closes on Sunday every other week. In addition to film competitions, market exhibitions are also held at the same time.
